The Fortune Poker Software is not full of bells and whistles but it is very functional and graphically pleasing. The Graphics are pretty basic. Players have the 4 color deck option, but there are no player avatars. There is a cool little colored circular countdown ticker that lets players know how much time they have left in a hand. The graphics are pretty good as they are, but if you don’t like them then you should look elsewhere because the graphics aren’t too customizeable.

The features are more flexible than the graphics however. Fortune offers many features that improve gameplay. You can quickly and easily search for your favorite games with filters and tabs making it easy to sort through the myriad of available games. You can also search for buddies with the “find a friend” feature. Tables can be viewed in full screen, windowed mode, and even a convenient miniview for multitabling. You can download only in English (at the time of this writing) but the software itself is available in five different languages with the click of a button. Level of Competition

The competition at all of the Boss (IPN) sites is pretty weak, especially at the low and middle limit games. The competition is quite loose and very willing to chase medium and weak holdings like gutshot draws and mid-pair type hands. The best strategy for beating these types of games is to play loosely on the button preflop (limp in or raise with limpers in front) but otherwise tight preflop and always tight postflop. There is always enough action in these games to warrant tight play. The quality of play improves as you move up in limits but it seems to be pretty weak when compared with other poker sites.
